Loire Valley château wedding videographer.
Based in the Loire Valley, filming weddings across France — and travelling further for destination weddings.
A filmmaker who already lives here.
My studio is in Romorantin-Lanthenay, in the heart of the Loire Valley. Chambord and Chenonceau are less than an hour away. That is the difference between me and most videographers who appear when you search for a French château wedding : they fly in the day before. I am already here.
It changes small things that end up mattering : I can scout your venue in advance, I know how the light falls on these stones at the end of the day, and I handle the drone permits that French heritage sites require. No jet lag, no guesswork — just a calm presence on the day.
The royal châteaux of the Loire.
The Loire Valley is where I work most, and where the most iconic French wedding venues stand. A few of the places couples ask me about most often :
I also film regularly around Tours and the wider Touraine (Amboise, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Loches, the Vouvray vineyards), around Blois, Orléans and in the quiet Sologne near my studio. It is the densest concentration of wedding châteaux in France.
Île-de-France châteaux.
Two hours north, the great classical estates around Paris are within easy reach : Vaux-le-Vicomte, the château that inspired Versailles and one of the rare monuments that truly hosts private weddings, and Versailles and its Yvelines domains. Travel from the Loire is short and simple.
Destination weddings, further afield.
For couples who have chosen another corner of France, I travel. Travel and accommodation are quoted upfront, at real cost — no hidden margin.
- Provence & the Luberon — golden light, bastides and lavender.
- French Riviera — the coast from Cannes to Saint-Tropez.
- Bordeaux & the vineyards — wine estates and Aquitaine châteaux.
- Burgundy — the Côte de Nuits, Beaune, stone and vines.
- The French Alps — Courchevel, Megève, Annecy, Chamonix, Val d'Isère, in summer green or winter snow.
I won't pretend to know every venue in these regions by heart. What travels is my craft — natural light, discretion, a documentary eye — and the serious scouting that comes before every trip.
The same film, wherever you marry.
Two cameras, kept discreet. No added lighting — only the light the day gives. A drone when the venue and the law allow, with permits handled in advance. And a signature colour grade, restrained and timeless, made to be watched in twenty years without dating. The decor changes ; the approach does not.
